Our Products

Our family has been farming sheep and vegetables for three generations.
The quality tells our story.

Seasonal Greens

Crisp lettuces, spicy arugula, bitter endive and radiccio: We have it all. If you love greens, we serve them up from March to November.

Regional Specialties

North Carolina is known for a fantastic variety of fruits and vegetables. Our farm specializes in award winning stone fruit, a rare variety of rhubarb, and tomatoes you will have to taste to believe.

Southern Wool

Even though we don't get as cold as our northern cousins, we still appreciate some wool socks and sweaters. Our lovely flock produces the softest wool, and we sell both yarn and roving.

Cheeses

Sheep's cheese is the new goat cheese. A welcome alternative to cow's cheeses, we offer several varieties. They can be found at local markets.

Join us at the farm or at a local market to enjoy our products!

About

Friendly Farm NC

Rougemont, North Carolina

Karen and Paul Friendly have both lived in Rougemont, NC since they were kids. Paul's dad raised sheep and Paul grew on the farm. Karen was the girl next door. They are so glad to have been able to carry on their parents legacy and keep the family going. That doesn't mean they are living in the 1950s. Karen runs the website and business side of things and Paul is the face of the business out at markets and events. Their two kids, Kip and Pepper, are kind enough to participate in farm life. Catch Paul and Pepper at markets in Rougemont, Durham, and Chapel Hill throughout the week. Check our social media to keep up to date on special events coming up on the farm!
